I am still crying because Yahoo's site explorer is gone ;-(
 
To check the backlinks of your site only (and not any third party), The Google webmasters account will give you the near accurate results. Just try it.
 
Google webmaster tool work great for me to check backlinks for my sites
 
They are many tools which show backlinks ,some show in detail and some not.I regularly use ahrefs.com.They are perfect and show backlinks in detail with graph.
 
I use backlinkwatch and crowthemes
for backlink monitoring and fast checks.

According to your suggested site I have only 4 inbound links but according to google webmaster tool I have 21 inbound links. So whose result is trusted?
