I heard they expire after 9 months of inactivity

Just keep all your gmail accounts in Outlook or any other email program. And then set outlook to check for email every few days.
Then it will keep accessing your account using POP/IMAP and your account will stay active.

This is true - however, it becomes a little cumbersome when you have a few hundred email accounts. Not to mention you could be creating a footprint by checking your accounts from the same IP (your mail client most likely uses your system proxy by default).

To OP - I've never used it or really looked in to it, but MassPlanner has an email account module & I assume this is what it's for. Load your account details, proxies & let it log in periodically.

What counts as activity? Incoming emails too? In that case, you can just send emails to those Gmails now and then.

I can't really speak of Gmail, but i have an account checker tool for Hotmail. It operates via POP3 and the ip doesn't matter, i can use the same ip with thousands of accs, they won't be affected, whereas if i'd be logging in with the same ip to even just a handful of accounts, they would get locked.
