I asked ebay to increase my selling limits and they sent me these questions:
1.Who managed thе items уоu listed іn eBay?
2.Do уоu order thеѕе item bеfоrе making thе listings?
3.Do уоu check уоur items bеfоrе listing?
4.What shipping service dо уоu intend tо use?
5.What's thе average price оf еасh items?
6.Are уоu gоіng tо uѕе tracking оr delivery confirmation?

The thing is I'm outside the US and all the items I sell are dropshipped from amazon. Is it true that ebay doesn't like this? I don't want them asking me for invoices or something.

eBay doesn't like drop shippers in general. If/When eBay finds out you're ding the Amazon drop shipping thing they will stop raising your limits.

So should I tell them that I have the item physically?

What's your source for this? There have been people drop-shipping from Amazon on ebay for years and years, many of which do thousands of transactions a month. I've been doing it for a year, my limit was raised gradually until 20K per month, and then it ceased. I've heard that's pretty much the cap for personal accounts. Ebay has publicly encouraged drop-shipping from actual providers, but have never voiced anything about retail arbitrage. I assume they know it's going on, and I assume they don't care since they get their cut from it.

Back to the original post...dropshipping from Amazon is not violating ebay's policies. But I've never called for a limit increase. I would just be given one without asking every month as long as my sales performance was good. If you did talk to them for a limit increase I'd be eager to find out what happened. I think I saw a youtube video of a guy who dropshipped from Amazon calling and getting a limit increase, and they didn't ask him very much.

As mentioned above, Drop shipping is not against eBay's TOS. That being said, they will dig further into how exactly you're dropshipping: Pick a local company and tell them that you're wholesaling. Shipping= Fedex 2 Day

Give eBay a call and they won't have so many questions

Yes, you MUST tell them that you have everything in your garage, you're listing and shipping by yourself and that you're an ebay noob and trying to figure things out.

Let's see...I've been selling on ebay since 1998 or so, created a few dozen stealth accounts of which ZERO has gone down due to performance or VERO violation issues, and I shipped $400K worth of merchandise last year on my stealth accounts, and I read stuff about this religiously on the internets. Oh, and I have a small manufacturing business which drop shipps for others as well as making stuff for my accounts.

And all those people are one amazon policy change away from getting put out of business.

In my experience, it's damn easy to get your accounts up to 10-20K area. They used to be really anal about giving it higher limits but they eased up a bit in the last few months I think. I have had stealth accounts get 10x limit increases to $100K-$250K on multiple accounts in the last few months.

They're okay with drop shipping...if you can do massive volume, as in more than $2-3 million a year. They're not really interested in some dude trying to make $2 an item off Amazon listings.

You must remember that eBay has to balance between having as many listings as possible AND not being as some site that sells 2nd hand Amazon stuff.

Take that list of questions and write a pre-made answer on a sheet of paper so when you call them back to let them know you're interested they'll know all about what you do.

You can lie to them as long as your products aren't against their terms, but it's easier to write everything down and provide the least to their case as possible to allow you to wiggle through to them and lift your limits.

That is of course, only if you aren't doing anything too abundant like having your own warehouse... If that's the case, just be honest.

That being said, try calling into eBay and tell them you're drop shipping from Amazon and see how your account prospers.

Thanks for your input guys. I tried calling them but they told me to reply to the email they sent me. My IP, registration address, and the documents I sent them before were clearly from another country so I thought they would be suspicious if I tell them I'm handling the storage and shipment of the items.
And by the way, I'm not doing the usual amazon to ebay drop shipping wherein you buy low at amazon then sell high at ebay. I have a small twist on that which gives me a profit of $20-$30 per $100 item instead of $2 lol. :D
