What are some ideas of items I should sell on ebay. I only sell completely legit items, that are not: (fake, not allowed to be sold on ebay, replicas, etc.)

I would like to bring in some income, so I would like to become a powerseller on ebay, but I need to learn the game.

Any tips?

start in your closet and your garage.. I'm sure lot of stuff you can sell first

Well if you pm me i got a list of supplier and dropshippers to help you out let me know thanks.

Get yourself a Terapeak subscription. This tool is the god of eBay, if you use it correctly and are business savy yourself there is almost NO way to lose on eBay. Still a chance of being burned by having poor suppliers.

But get it!

FYI Terapeak is a eBay market research tool to analyze products/sellers/catergories combos of all three. Very slick.

As far as products, you will find that products that are "2nd tier" sell very well.

I.E. Not new bicycles but bike racks, lights, etc. Obvsoiusly you will need to know the market you are targeting and what they are looking for and thats where Terapeak comes in to confirm your thought.

well ebay is still #1 which means too many ppl sell all kinds of bs. dropshipping might be a way although I would not rely on any chinese or other out of country ones with all the chances to get stuck at customs etc ...im sure still ppl make quite some profit but those r the extremly large volume ones or niche specific. one good thing bout ebay lot of ppl do not have a clue so you can also get more than you would have expected.

look at the top of the ebay section here, there is a sticky with suppliers and drop shippers

Software seems to sell good along with video gaming equipment.

Just take a look at this site: http://pulse.ebay.com/

Basically that is similar to Terapeak except its free and it shows most searched etc.

Good luck with your venture

This may not be as fancy as the other options stated above, but I raid garage sales. You can buy name brand clothes, video games, books, etc at SUPER low prices. Sometimes .10 per item. Then sell them on ebay. For example, I bought 2 pairs of infant Nike shoes that looked BRAND NEW for only .50 per pair. Sold them on ebay and received $38. The profits really do add up.

As stated, check out eBay pulse, and search through the completed listing categories to see what's been selling as of late. Check out terapeak, but you have to pay for that service.

ebay is the best site now but there are a lot of problem happening with seller account because they are trying to avoid scammers or something but it takes a lot of users don't feel very comfortable to sell on ebay.

you can't get good profit from ebay for many common products because there're too many competitor.you can try to find some hand made products . I remember that i used to sell some custom painted transformers toy and leather mask ,custom action figure from film or game etc ... they have more than 100%-200% profit . By the way ,you also can spend time to find some new products and sell on ebay and can get good profit because few person sell it ... if you have question ,please PM to me ...

Starting April 19 fee bay is removing the listing fee. Still got the final val fee. I suspect the final val fee will increase.

I'm just starting to look into amazon... do they really take 15%? WTF?
I can't believe it.

You can re-sell goods in large quantities like an online wholesaler. For example, there are lots of power seller that sells iphone accessories easily such as cables, case protectors, etc.

yes amazon take 15 % + a statrting fee at least in germany...
