What to sell in summer ?

Okay summer is coming nd i want to something little on the side instead of going back to my shit shop assistant job. Any of you guys got any good ideas of things that will sell good in summer ?

I'm thinking of building a quick stand with wheels and hiring someone to go round my town and sell stuff but thing is i haven't come up with an idea... Summer is crazy in my country lol so some good money to be made.

Anyone got any good wholesale links for summer stuff which are located in the EU due to importation tax... ?

lol I doubt my sig is worth anything. I'm looking to building a quick cart and selling some shutter shades lol theyr crazy in my country everyone wants them. Then just pay some kid to go sell dem for me.
 
Well, everything someone would want can be bought without going through you :) Just capitalize on the current niches and wait for another good one to pop up Acai > Swine Flue, etc. The important thing is acting fast. Did you go through an affiliate to get that boat you're driving in your avatar? That's a summer activity.
 
Thing is im not looking to promote any affiliate's or programs, just want to purchase wholesale and pay my friends commission on sales. In summer a lot of students come by Malta and they buy all the useless shit that looks cool. Thats why I taught shutter shades because I had a friend that used to wear them and everyone was asking her where she could buy them from. As for my boat, its quite useless now :( lol piston in the engine is screwed up hehe
 
Sell some tourist shit man. I remember going through these areas and the best things that sells are the things that stood out the most, crazy Malta hats and tshirts (be different from your comp), people want things to brag to their friends about. Find the cheapest shit but the weirdest shit and tell tourists that it's what Malta people favorite wear/use.

Thing is there is no competition for what I want to do, I can easially get a street hawker license and hire some people to work for me, just sell some random stuff round the streets where lots of tourists pass from. I'm looking for cool stuff that is available abroad but not in malta, like a certain drink for example once DR pepper came out in the US, it was never introduced in Malta but when it came in, everyone started buying it. What do you people have in your countries that is popular at cheap wholesale and sells a lot ?

Are you trying to sell to tourists or to Maltanian(?) ? tourists don't want to see the same shit they can get back home. But you probably know the market better, it's your country after all.

I'll tell you what's currently cool in NY. Everybody is carrying a Blackberry, it makes them feel important, I was away for a year and when I came back into the States, everybody's carrying them even the fucking high school kids. What happened? why's the boring business PDA suddenly became cool?

wats a Maltanian ? I was more like thinking some cool shades and those Hawaiian necklaces, shops sell them at expensive prices and I can do cheaper, also I want to get a cart moving round my town since its infested with students learning english, my past experience as working as a shop assistant taught me that they all buy the most stupid shit as long as it looks cool, also the advantage is, i will have a moving cart round my town, shops wont :) so I got a 1UP
 
seems like this could be a good business...you need a JV ;)? I like to travel and if I can lock down a business venture in Malta I can set up shop and move there for awhile. US is not a very fun country to live in. Great place to make money though.
 
Get an ice cream truck and start selling ice cream. Best to do this at beaches.
 
you can rent a ice cream cart and go around public areas such as the beach or in the city and sell ice cream i did this one summer made a desent amount of money
