What to look for at guest blog posts?

The blog have good and real metrics such as da, choose the real blogs without spam links.

Hi,

I think the most important backlink type is, guest blog posts.

So while selecting the blog for guest posts what should we look for to get the best results for SERPs?

Thanks

Just consider the following elements.

Mandatory:
1. Backlinks from authority sites like bbc or huffington or any other related websites.
2. Scam score of the guest post site and backlink page sites.
3. Valuable backlinks.
4. Check there is any chinese anchor texts.
5. Make sure the site getting at least 300+ searches( use semrush for this).
6. Trust flow and Citation flow

Second priority
1. Domain Authority
2. Page Authority
3. Price

90% of "guest blog posts" I've seen sold are nothing more than PBNs in drag. They dress them up pretty, but if you look at the wayback machine and the site's history you'll find they haven't been around long in their present form. And if you look around the site it will be obvious if they've been doing nothing but selling posts. Beware of this. A fake guest blog is worse than a PBN, but more expensive typically.

You should look for the site's PR and DA...if the blog has a high DA(domain authority) thats how you know its a quality site..and hence thats how you know you're getting a quality backlink

Scrutinize the quality of the content itself. I cannot stress often enough that QUALITY is highly important. Imagine buying a guest post spot on a reputable blog and then realizing the quality is shite. You CANNOT allow something shite to represent your brand!
