What to include in SEO sales letter

Im going to either do direct mail or drop off these letters since they are close by to my house. Anybody have any examples of what sales pitches or letters they have used. Any advice on what to include?

This is a great topic to see what works. Of course we could Google the "how to" part, but getting people's opinions on what works and what doesn't is much harder to find through a Google search.

The shorter your sales letter can be without no fluff would be the thing that would work - in my opinion.
