What to do?!

I'm sort of new to this community and i've been browsing alot!
**Don't know if i posted this in right section**

I want to build a website, i already know what niche i'm going to have and such, the problem is i don't know how to start.

- Do i buy a domain first?
- I also want people to upload things ( what do i need for that?) so there is enough memory and such.

-Do i get backlinks first?
-How can people sign up to my website so they can post things, or even if i didn't want that option can they still upload things?

I'm sorry for all of these questions!

You need to be more specific. What kind of site is it? What do people upload? Pics? Something like 9gag?

Before you do anything research your keywords thoroughly. Once that is done you can start looking at domains and a hosting company.

OP, don't put the wagon in front of the horse. Working online takes work, and you still have studying to do if you don't know if you need a domain or not.

Read some more threads and browse some webmaster forums; maybe BHW isn't where you should be looking quite yet if you don't know how to create an uploading site.

I mean like videos, photos, somewhat like 9gag but...with a different feel to it. And yes i know this will take some time and studying to do but i just wasn't sure on what would go first.
