The first thing you should worry about is how you're going to get people to your website. There are two main lanes you can go down through - SEO and Social Media.
1. SEO - there is a lot to learn, you need to be able to invest a bit and you need a website full of original content based on quality keyword research. Keep in mind that you'll need to set a side a month or two to first learn and absorb as much info as you can find about it (preferably on this forum, not from gurus). Then, when you start doing it, results usually require another couple of months, so this is quite the long game, but seems to be one of the most rewarding ones if done well.
2. Social Media - this one is quite diverse, but the premise is simple - you build a large following and then you start promoting your website to them. The important thing here is the targeting, the followers you're getting need to be interested in what you're going to promote to them later, so you will get good results. There are a ton of social networks that you could use like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, Tumblr and so on and so on.
After you've got some traffic, you need to learn how to make money from it. The two main routes are selling products be it having a dropshipping store, selling digital products or promoting affiliate products that your visitors would buy from other websites and display advertising which would mean showing advertising from an ad network like AdSense or a competitor or selling banner ads directly to advertisers (which is more difficult but more profitable).
Of course, there are other possible types of more unconventional traffic sources and monetization methods, but those are your basics that you need to start with and then expand your knowledge having that base and hopefully starting to think a bit outside the box and putting your own twists to everything.
Good luck!
