What to do with unique email list

By "some kind of accident" I got 2000 email adresses. Im only one who have the list.

Now I just want to know what to do with it? I dont know enything about email marketing or things like that. I tried little test and sent 97 email that contains one sentence and one clickbank hotlink. Ended up that 7% opened that link. So these are "live" email adresses.

Does this list have eny kind of value? Or what to do with it? Or should I put this straight to recyclebin? :p

Yes I agree with this view.

Knowing the interest(s) of your audience is a vital piece of the email marketing puzzle, because you would be able to target offers by preferences of the persons addressed.

If you don't have that kind of information, you should try to send out a few emails by asking the readers to opt-in to some offer (for example: setup a simple capture/squeeze page in the affiliate marketing niche). At that point you would add subscribers to a list which is then targeted.

there are lots of ways how to use such list. But to start its important to know:
- "some kind of accident" is important, on the way you got the list will depend the style how you can monetize it
- what category are those emails? (dating? jobs? games? gambling? forex? MMO? )

Deffinitely do not throw out a 2k list with 7% ctr. (such ctr is very good) (quick math - thats 140 clicks per one blast (sending) - solid).

You can blast them an email in general niche, as they are using computer blast them a product from clickbank that is related to computers, antivirus or something like this...
Everyone that uses a computer have this kind of problems.
The first thing for you to do is to make them double optin to your list, so your first email blast should be something very catch that you are giving for free, like this they will opt in to your autoresponder list...
From there start to grow little by little...
 
Autoresponder list? Can you shortly summarize what is that? Like I said this all is new to me.

I dont know more than all these email owners are registered service like Youtube. So that is just very general classification.
 
How did you get the list? If you don't know what niche that list is interested in, it would be pointless to email them random offers.
 
They kind of leaked from site like youtube. I took them just in case.

A non-targeted list is like pissing in the wind. But since you know what providers they're from you can target that way. This would require your campaigns to be deceptive and creative in order to convert them.
 
I also have 12k email lists of targeted niche who wants adult fun ..how can i work with them ???
