What to do with this @

So a friend owns the Instagram @oth*r

He's been thinking about what to do it with it for a very long time now. Initially he wanted to post stuff you don't see everyday but the content that is out there is a bit boring in terms of images and although it is different he doesn't think anyone will actually like the images.

He doesn't want to start a meme page because there are far too many of those. So I suggested that the best way forward is to post videos such as those found on @amazing

What are your thoughts on this approach? Does anyone have any other (no pun intended) suggestions?

I will be eternally grateful for any input provided. Thanks!

There's far more money to be made in the long term though. He doesn't need money urgently and it could become an excellent side business so why not grow?

You can get a fat ass check, most people won't do the work required to make that kind of money. Especially someone who has no clue what to do with it.

Sell it or regret it later.

Sell it before IG becomes myspace. All these social networks will go to shit at some point. Make money while you can.

He is more than willing to put in the effort. He has a burning desire to grow it into something successful. He just needs ideas and input on what he should grow it into.

People on here have a lot of experience - they know what will work well and what not do well, that's what he's looking for.
 
I know people who are hungry to buy names like this one. Lmao, and trust me. they hella hungry.
Or sell it, or start something with it. Simple as that.

Exactly. They want names like this because it has huge potential. A small investment is nothing compared to how big it can grow. Just don't know what direction to grow it in.
 
The main advantage of this is that you can actually shoutout a lot of niches and combining with huge amount of followers you will get good money.

I would post life hack videos to be honest, if not starting my own company.
 
I find the term "other" very general. Why do you say it has such a huge potential? Other dot com is much better than an IG username, and it's still worthless.
I don't want to burst your buble but IG is not about usernames..

That's a good point. It is quite general but is has a good meaning and it's very common. My friends gets tagged many times daily.

And honestly I think usernames give you a huge advantage. Instagram has so many pages doing the exact same thing so you need something to stand out. If you see a cool username you are also more likely to follow.
