What To Do With This Site?

I had a that i bought at past and didn't do anything. It was offline for a year. Last month i put a page. Now it rank on top 20 for the word "renaissance" without any onpage or offpage seo.

I checked and this word has
renaissance 6.120.000 monthly searches
[renaissance] 368.000 monthly searches

I think with some seo it can rank higher. Do you think it is worth to work on it? How i can monetize it?

Of course it is. I mean, how well you can monetize it does sort of depend on the niche, but with that many monthly searches, there definitely is some money in there.

It's difficult to say how to monetize it without knowing more about the niche.

EDIT: I just noticed you provided your keyword (not used to people doing that, so I overlooked it lol). Um, there doesn't seem to be much advertiser competition for that keyword in Adsense. But you could still make some nice change with that much search volume.

Actually good be a great niche as I don't think many SEO people go for such art world words. Then again the high rankers could be very well off international sites.

But as always it all comes down to the same process no matter the keyword. Research the competition, try to rank in serp, test how well you can monetize.

that's a good niche with very low competition. I would start building links and throw some quality content on it

High competition keyword tends to have a higher CPC.
Lower competition niche: if your volume is there you still have potential to make some money

Its very hard to get to the top 10 positions for this keywords 'renaissance', as I checked the SEO competition of first page in G, all are high PR and huge backlinks for the pages... not worth trying..
