I have a very close friend, he is living in another country. He knows several people who wants to invest in crypto market, I assume we can reach up to 6 figures as an initial investment. They all have no idea about cryptos, they are just interested. My friend also has not much knowledge, that's why he wants to start something with me.

So I don't want to lose this opportunity only via sharing a crypto exchange affiliate link. What would if I try to start kind of small investing circle, cutting my commissions? or I know it's risky but what if we collect all the money and stake on a high APR coins? I also thought about starting a validator node or something, but I have not much knowledge on that area.

Any other ideas?

How are you going to reach 6 figures if no one knows about investing in crypto?
Or do you simply mean the initial investment by them combined is six figures?

Hell with that much money there are accounts that pay out 10% to hold you could look into

I would go through lists of crypto startups and see if you find any project interesting, then reach out to the team to see if they are taking on new investors.

Example list where you can find lots of companies to explore: https://cryptocurrencyjobs.co/startups/

I would not advertise and wait for someone to contact you looking for money.

It's initial investment, just updated the thread.
What accounts? In crypto?

Thanks for the advice, it's actually great but probably these people only heard Bitcoin and how profitable crypto market etc.
If I invest the money to start-up(s), it would be more risky than investing Bitcoin. I can explain them Bitcoin price drop as they can even check the price on the internet, but it would be a big trouble to say start-up failed.

Take their funds.

Create a Hedge fund which is managed by you.

Invest 50% in BlockFi or Binance Earn (~ 6% to 7%)

Invest 50% into Defi Liquidity pools (APY varies)

Take your cut of 2% and give the owners their share.

Your main concern would be to win their trust in the first place.

I run a private group and can tell you unless each of you have about 5 to 6 BTC I wouldnt bother. Once you do find a venture capital firm like pantera you can partner up with.

I’d posts the funds but previous poster made mention.
You’re pitching a high risk investment anyway so see what else you can pitch or diversify.
Half into into BTC hodl and half into day MCA (US loan snarking for business for example, anything you want but that’s just an example since I used to work in kt that I’m aware of)

If this were me I would allocate:

60% to the Big Dogs - $BTC and $ETH, split 20/80 respectively. I love $ETHs upside potential over the next 12-18 months and feel it can double faster than $BTC will, especially with the upcoming London hard fork.

30-35% in some nice mid caps with proven product/projects and the remaining 5%-10% in some highly speculative plays, all with very tight stop loss to prevent any major hemorrhaging.

My pay would be commission based somewhere in the 5%-7.5% range

But this is NOT financial advice:)
