I got demonetized 2 months ago. So my channel is pointless now. Should i just delete it? My views increased almost twice since demonetization and i can't stand looking at these stats because my channel is at its peak and i make zero dollars... I re-applied 20 days ago (channel is still under review), but i don't think they will approve me again...

Your numbers increased due to YouTube not filtering non monetized views as much. It's not pointless as typically you are just suspended instead of banned from adsense permanently. It can and should come back eventually, as it has happened to me several times. I can take a look and see if it's banned completely or not with a MCN tool I have.

Yes, but they manually review channels now and if they think content does not belong to you, they turn off monetization for 1 month until next review.

Depends on whats your channel about? If its something like DIY of some other way of educative videos you can ask them do donate money. Also as some member said just open a another channel and make few videos (over a period of time) for your subscribers to move there....you will lost subscribers but that's fine you will recover, except if most of your traffic is organic.

Agree with him. It depends really about "niche" , is it gaming, some helpful tutorials. But as one member said you can go with affiliate marketing, since your video will rank probably better than most.

I wouldn't delete it at all, if anything the account gives you free reign to try any projects borderline with the Terms Of Service. These channels are the best to split test offers and ask your audience more directly what they want from you since it is more or less a 'throwaway' account.
My channel is about ww2 documentaries. There is almost nothing to promote with my content.
