Should I build a site around it and try to cash in or try to sell it?

Surely someone has an idea for me.

Build a website for it, rank it, monetize it, and sell it :)

Basically that. Beautiful name, but very little you could actually accomplish with it unless you just wanted it to bleed adsense (which hopefully works out).

As tawsifhossain said, Pinterest is a well known TM.
They may go after it anytime.
There is another thread out there about Instagram disputing a domain, that's an example of what might happen.

Pinterest is now very well-funded. Maybe you can reach them and sell your domain.

Don't do anything related to pinterest or social media, they may come after you for trademark name. Your domain sounds like IP-Interest, so start something related IP addresses and promote it. You might get traffic from the typos for pinterest.com..

Build a funny Beer related site: I-Pint-&-rest lol couldn't resist sorry ;)
Nice domain, but tricky to get it to monetize.

It's actually a pretty decent TM domain. Most TMed domains I see these days are absolute garbage, but this really isn't too bad. It's always a little risky, but the app route is a decent way to go. Maybe sell some sort of Pinterest service or something - the important thing to remember is to just avoid bothering Pinterest.com or you'll end up getting your domain taken or getting sued.

I make boards on pinterest. Through pinterest you can get good traffic on your site.

have some similar good pinterest related domains too, but haven't found something interesting to do with them, and didn't manage to sell it for good price on flippa/godaddy...
