what to do with half an idea?! advice please

yesterday I was writing a blog post with a half formed idea for a simple & free money making method (the sort of thing that would appeal to a stay at home mom), but as I was writing the idea grew a bit - and I think I may have just hit on something that hasn't really been done yet.

Now I don't know whether or not to fluff it out and expand into a WSO or Clickbank product

What would you do? If I go the wso or clickbank method I would need to find a more experienced partner as I wouldn't really know how to market it very well, but how do you go about sharing the method and brainstorming ideas without them running off into the sunset with it?

And it could just be a load of old unworkable junk anyway, is there anyway to find out?

I'm really interested to hear what you guys think, so thanks in advance
