What to Do With Good Domain Which Was Only Redirecting?

Just bought a good domain name which dropped. It had fake PR4 ranking because it was redirecting to another website. The domain was probably owned by the same website that it was redirecting to, but for some reason they decided to let it go. But the thing is that the domain has gained a lot of backlinks through time. I've checked it at MajesticSEO and Ahrefs and it has good score.

Now as I wanted to include it in my blog network, but since web.archive shows no data of previous history (as the domain has been only redirecting for years) I have no idea what kind of site to build at it and what content to put on it. I can't just copy the original website it was redirecting to as it still exists and I'm afraid if I build a totally new website on it that it might lose the backlink juice.

    What would you suggest?
