Hi guys.. I have a few sites which has dropped in ranking because of unnatural backlinking :D

Can anyone tell me what can I do with the content of the penalised sites?

Is it okay for me to reuse the contents in a new money site and seo it again..?

Fix the website by removing over optimized links. Starting over will take much longer time and money. That's the best strategy.

No.. But I am pretty sure it's because of the backlink.

BTW, do you have a method to know specific reason why a site is being hit? I love to hear your opinion :)

I always heard people claiming recovering from being hit is way harder than ranking a new site.. So I think it's better to start with a fresh site with fresh backlinks.

You get a message in WMT saying your site has been penalized for unnatural backlinking.

You need to download from WMT all your links and sift out the rubbish, depending on how many you have you can get rid of PR n/a and OBL >15 for a start. Look for links on completely unrelated sites and check out the diversity of your archor text and fix if necessary. Use google disavow tool to list all the backlinks you want removed.

It takes a good 4 weeks plus to see results but way better than starting a new site generally.

BTW, the keywords your targeting are they difficult or real easy ?

Yah disavow all the bad links. Probably better and a smaller hassle than starting all over!

Instead of disavowing the links, I would take down the content from that site and put it on a clean, new site... and start again, and don't go overboard this time :)

Don't disavow anything. Just 301 to a new domain and spam like a motherfucker.
