What to do with big(ish) email list

Hi all,

I'm about to get my hands on a decent size email list:

• 80,000 - 100,000 addresses

• All are small to medium size businesses in the UK

• Very reliable list, very few dead/invalid emails

Anybody got any ideas on way could be done with this list? Apart from selling it of course. Was thinking of a few ways to monetize it myself.

If that list is legit and you are sure that you have very few dead/invalid email selling it it will be the worst thing that you could do with it.

First of all clean the list then find a nice offer to promote and go for it. if you have the niche of those business you have more chances of success.
Second you should check if we are talking about official emails ( i mean, support@.... office@....) or personal emails.

For start you can find an offer on CB and try to promote and see what happen.

Let's say I did want to sell it, how much would you expect to sell a list of this size for? Details on the list are:

• Town name

• Company name

• Email address

• Website

you may get affiliated for any profitable product and use your list for marketing.there are lots of tools mailchimp,massmailer,etc.

Be sure, you can not earn money with this list now.
What you can do:
First make a fresh list fully.
Then send them a personal relationship email to confirm their address.
I am not sure, but you maybe dropped 80-90% emails. But if only 5% people confirm them, then this 5% is your asset.

And about income money.
I have read a case study that, a software engineer made more then 20k with just only 2k email list in a month buy selling one of his latest technology.
So it depends on your relationship.
