I have a domain that is 9 years old. It has a good amount of backlinks pointing to it also. The domain has a country name in it (Bulgaria). Does anyone have an idea as to how I can use it as a money site? Would you suggest a blog, authority site or Amazon shop etc? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

A blog is more befitting for such a domain. An authority site is also appropriate. An Amazon shop doesn't suit such a domain unless Bulgaria residents are big customers of Amazon.

I'm English so if I use it I would write the content for English speaking people. I thought of something like tourism or something along those lines

    A tourism blog sounds great.

Then that's what I'll go for. I had considered this but I was put off by the competition in the tourism niche, although there are some good openings in the Bulgarian tourism niche. Thanks very much for the advice.

Yea build an authority site. Are you from Bulgaria? Would make it easier. But maybe a site on all things Bulgaria, for tourism maybe would be best? Divide it into sections - Culture, Accomodation, Food, History... stuff like that.
