What to Do With a Growing Pinterest Account

Hey guys,

I’ve got a Pinterest account in the trading niche that’s been inactive for over a year but keeps getting more impressions (200,000) and clicks every month. I’m not sure what to do with it, tried affiliate links before, but no success.

Any ideas on how to make the most of this?

Thanks!
Use the traffic to share useful guides and add relevant offers that match your audience

Use the Pinterest traffic to drive visitors to your own blog or newsletter then promote affiliate offers from there

Great results. Keep the momentum by sharing updated, informative content. Consider highlighting your own trading services or collaborating with brands in the same space.

That’s actually a very good problem to have. An inactive Pinterest account still pulling ~200,000 monthly impressions + clicks means the algorithm already trusts your pins. Most people never get there.

Affiliate links failing is normal on Pinterest, especially in trading/finance. Pinterest users don’t convert well directly on risky or complex offers.

You should analyze the audience that visits your page. From the relevant audience segments, you can then choose suitable products to market to them.

Growing Pinterest accounts are gold, optimize boards, add links, and test traffic sources early.

With that level of steady impressions, you could refocus on educational pins, lead magnets, or email capture tied to trading tools or content, since Pinterest traffic often converts better after warming users rather than direct affiliate links.

Turn the Pinterest traffic into an email list using ONE free trading resource.

The best thing you can do here is to create a blog about trading, attract an audience to this blog, and then sell private access to market forecasts there. One of the funnels you can create is to sell a paid subscription, redirecting users directly to the landing page.

That’s a great asset already, so consider reviving it with updated pins and routing traffic to a value-first landing page or email funnel instead of direct affiliate links.

With that level of traffic, consider turning it into an authority hub by sharing educational content or free tools, then monetizing later through your own product or consulting instead of direct affiliates.
