Sign up on .edu websites which allow only to register with edu mail. That way you'll have edu backlinks for your site
^^^^THIS ..There are quite a few sites that will not allow you to sign up unless you have an .edu mailing address. Good place to get links from places that have not been spammed to death.

Interesting... I still have access to my old .edu address, but I believe it will go dead some time this year. I should take advantage of signing up to low OBL blogs with it before it's too late. Anyone got a recent list of quality, .edu-only blogs for use with SB or article submission sites for use with AMR?
