I have a list of 5k+ people's information who have previously spent money on adult toy products. I have names, emails, home addresses, and phone #s. I want to know how you guys would monetize this list. I tried looking for products on cb, but they don't have any related to adult categories..

There's a lot of things you could do with that list here are some ideas I think might be good.

    A) Sell affiliate products (Difficulty 5)
    - I'm sure it would be rather easy to find an adult related affiliate. There are plenty of adult-cam sites that offer affiliate programs. I'm sure you can even get one that sells adult related products. The hardest aspect of this type of marketing is writing a solid sales letter that will convert well via E-mail.

    B) Sell your own products (Difficulty 4ish)
    - Sell your own product. You can probably find a whole-sale supplier of adult related products. Create an online store maybe offer some free stuff to get some traffic coming to your site. The hardest part of this probably would be finding a whole-sale supplier and, setting up the store to be optimized for converts.

    C) Offer stuff for free and set-up an adult-related advertisement site (Difficulty 3ish)
    - Of coarse you won't be able to use Adsense, but you can find plenty of other related advertisement companies that allow adult related content. You could even mix C with A and have double monetization, which is always the best idea for a website.

Personally I would go with a mix of C & A. I'm in no way saying E-mail marketing affiliate products is dead, but it certainly is a lot harder to set-up than your own site. I have a list of about 20k that I use purely to remind people of my site, never to sell things. To me E-mail marketing is more about engaging my audience to come to my realm of the web, rather than try to sell a link. I believe this brings a loyal audience that is more likely to return to my site than delete my e-mail every time they see it.

Thanks nilomas for your great input. I was actually planning on setting up my online store, but I looked into dropshipping, and I feel like the profit margin was too low if I set the prices around the same as competitors'.
But I will definitely set up a website and try out some of the methods you mentioned above. Thanks again

It really depends, if you stay with a supplier long enough they usually will reduce prices even more after awhile. You don't necessarily have to be the cheapest in the business if you market correctly. An idea would be to write a review article for every product you are trying to sell.

I assume by C & A you mean Cunt & Ass. :) Sales emails that work, now that would be a score.
