I want to sell an affiliate product in dating niche (it's an e-book). I get 50$ per sale, but I have never ran ads before and don't know if Google is a suitable platform for me.

Facebook would ban me for promoting it. My test budget is 300-400$. What do you think?

Are you planning on making your own ads or hiring someone from Fiverr or here?

For your first time 400$ is not enough to find profitable ads and run it

I will do it myself. Currently, I don't have money to pay someone else. It would cost me additional 200-300$. Just need to know if it's worth trying with my starting budget.

dating niche
OK, dating niche, AND :-
never ran ads
Never ran ads. The dating niche is a highly restricted niche in almost all the ad networks in which conversions are high, in which the traffic quality is (are) good, in which effective campaign targeting can be done.
Therefore, if you have never ran ads, then it is ideally suggested NOT to start running ads pertaining to the dating niche. I mean you do not want to run ads in some shitty ad network(s) where there will be zero conversions and you ad budget(s) will be eaten up by bots. You want to run dating ads in good quality ad networks, which would convert for the dating niche and in all such ad networks, the dating niche is highly restricted.
Paid ads related to highly restricted niches, is (are) nowadays a different ball game, as it involves cloaking, and at the moment that is something of an advanced level for you, because you have "never ran ads".
So, why not look for an offer that is NOT restricted to run, even if the commission / payout is lower than the dating niche and once you get a hang of running paid ads, and if you are curious enough, you can progress to other niches.
Now, which offers are NOT restricted to run ? This is something that ideally you need to do your research on. For example, check various Google Ads policies, check the policies of other popular ad networks. Yes, some homework needs to be done and if YOU do that, it will be beneficial for you.

Would 1000$ be enough to start? That's maximum I would be willing to spend.

Thanks for the info.

I think you can try to buy somethings from AliExpress or Alibaba things don't cost more than 200$ and try to sell it on FB or IG paid ads
just watch your local community

It’s better to use free traffic methods - like posting in fb groups, Reddit and Instagram.

Purchase a few smm accounts, proxies and anti detect browser or good smm automation software

Run youtube ads first because search ads is a bit more strict.
