What to do with 1200 friends?

What should I do with my 1200 friends - what's the best monetization strategy for having a decent amount of friends?

CPA is one of the better options. However I wouldn't bother until your accounts have 5k friends each. If I were you I'd let that account age some, you'll end up getting a bunch of friend requests in most cases as the account just sits there. So in the mean time you can start to build up new accounts.

I agree with TermsB. Let the accounts age, keep adding friends, and keep building new accounts. Once you have a nice friend base built up, I suggest you create a fan page and use these accounts to send out invites. It is much easier to get an account terminated for using CPA. I guess it is not easier but you will lose out on a bunch of friends if the account is terminated whereas with a fan page you will only lose out on those fans and you can just create another page.

Also, create all of your fan pages from PVAs, different proxies (keep each proxy tied to the same account), and only host one fan page per account.
