What to do with 10K$

Hello everyone!

I have worked hard the past 5 years and have given sweat and blood to save up about 10k$ to start a business.
I have a couple of ideas in mind for opening a business with tangible products to sell through an e-commerce website (not dropshipping, includes the MOQ costs and risk of being stuck with the merchandise), and I am wondering if there are other ventures that could be interesting and profitable in the digital world? So this is me reaching out to see if anybody has a recommendation for me.
I am well aware of the risk factor of doing business in general, and I am not looking to triple my investment overnight. My wish honestly is to invest in something with an educated low risk factor to build something sustainable, win a descent income over time, and not lose my honestly earned money.

If you are hesitant to start you're own business or don't have much experience i recommend buying a digital business/website that's is generating monthly income with good previous history ofcourse

Yes, I am getting new knowledge as well about UI/UX, trying to learn Figma which will help future projects I have in mind.I have some background in the tech side and account management side of affiliate marketing and that is for mobile app through itunes and playstore, but no experience with media buying.
I know for a fact CPI is full of deductions, and browsing around here I found some posts about promoting CPA campaigns through Push traffic is profitable once learned properly? Maybe 10k would be enough to start that and scale? But again should I do sweeps, solar panels, mobile VAS, nutra? Guidance from people with experience would be appreciated.

Suggestions are always welcome, I will not be confused as I don't take facts, I do my research and am willing to learn new skills.

If you test something new, don't invest very much, you can test the waters with only 100$ or no money at all. If you manage to sell something without having it and see that there's demand, then you can start producing/acquiring etc and fulfill those orders.

No one can exactly guide you how to make money with that kind of budget. I would suggest you to research on your own and since you have no rush to double or triple your money, i would say that just buy some automated making money websites from flippa or other marketplaces and generate auto income.

My suggestion.
 
If you decide to get into affiliate marketing. Please stay away from 3rd Tier traffic sources like Push Ads, Pop under Ads etc.. Only focus on Tier 1 paid traffic sources like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads. It’s a waste of money to invest in 3 tier traffic sources. The clicks are extremely cheap for a reason. Mostly bot traffic that you will never be able to monetize. Tier 1 traffic sources are a lot more expensive but the traffic is high quality and was higher chance at making money. It does help to join paid AM forums like StackThatMoney or IamAffiliate.
 
1. You can start your own small scale e-commerce business. Products that you know well about and can collect at low prices. And you can sell them to customers profitably. Save such products.

Marketing your small business for five to ten dollars a day and when you receive orders from customers, buy the products and deliver them to the customers. In this way, once you have mastered the business, you can gradually start growing the business.
 
Give $5k for me, I will invest in altcoins, make it turn into $25k and pay $12k for you
 
If e-commerce with tangible products feels risky, consider low-overhead digital ventures like creating a niche content website, affiliate marketing, or even a SaaS tool (if you have tech skills or can outsource development). You could also explore building an online course or subscription-based community if you have expertise in a specific field. These options carry lower upfront risk compared to inventory-based businesses.
 
With 40% of the money, you can :

1. Learn how to run paid adverts
2. Look for an high converting mmo product and promote it as an affiliate

Regarding dropshipping/marketplace suggestions, I am not eager, as too much needs to be overseen and too much can go wrong (at least from my humble point of view) so it might not be the best fit.
Flippa is something new to me, I saw some interesting businesses but they cost more than my budget so maybe something for later.

Really? I saw a few threads here with people still making over 70k yearly from push. I'll document myself more on that, but I value your take.
Thank you also for the paid forum suggestions, I did not know such thing existed, and I have been to the AW conference in Bangkok back in 2022. I saw STM are partnering with them. More expensive than IamAffiliate but the discounts for the conference tickets and access to the sessions video footage seems like a good advantage.
Affiliate marketing forum subscription seems to be a good idea to learn as I invest and turn the savings into a bit more as I go just like in a game. I'll just turn off those streaming website subscriptions that I'm barely using to pay for that hehe :D

If you're interested in ecom, you can for sure give it a try. If you start with a single product or limited SKUs venture you won't have the issues with a storing a lot of inventory. Find a product market fit. You can buy from sellers offering lower MOQ to begin with. Once you find your winning product, order larger quantities.
 
Buy web assets, manage them yourself. With enough clicks from SEO you can win with a variety of business models. Then add outreach, GMB/Video/App/Socials/etc and paid traffic or labor costs.

I've put up Woocommerce, IDX, business lead gen sites, directory and membership ones myself. I can build one pretty though my SEO was lacking so I use vendors. Recently got to 100 clicks/mo on one site. Anyways, SEO is a lot of peoples bread and butter. Finding good vendors is hard, though look for value and check the reviews before ordering, I ask questions.

Right now I got multiple sites being made for real estate brokerages (family and friends), Im getting a real estate license again to collect referral fees. I can divvy these leads up and they go crazy for them. I have the option to lease or sell the site, PPL and such. Big LTD collection though it was pricy. Built a software funnel, adding webinar on top.

5 star ecommerce accounts setup though Im contemplating getting some Dropship plugin across my stores to do the listings and focusing less on that. Setup freelancer ones too, I found out the hard way you cannot leave them dormant. Note: my county had no business license requirement, I simply needed a reseller permit which got my access to many wholesale distributors.

This is the best advice from all of the posts. Don't act with haste. 10K is not alot of money so soak up as much information and ideas as possible, research your ideas, run them through chatGPT, and good luck!
