The problem with me is that I wanted to learn every damn thing. With technology, you can go deeper and deeper - there is just too much shit we don't know. And I love learning, it is like cocaine for my brain.
Started learning AI and Machine learning, found out it was basically "statistics". And wanted to learn everything about statistics. Spend a few months on that.. Found out, shit I don't know complex mathematics. And spend a month or two on learning complex mathematics. You can see where this is going
Looking back, I have wasted fuck ton of time but haven't learned anything properly.
It is my version of video games. I've learned my lesson. Now, I just don't give a shit about any new technology.I know daman well I am gonna spend few more months chasing things. lol

It was shocking for me to learn recently from a convo elsewhere that lot of web developers even the one's that know js beyond just pasting scripts have never even heard of the tcp/ip suite. And there's me trying to figure out whether ppp is supposed to be in the network interface or internet layer
