Define Your Target Audience

One common reason for low conversion rates in Facebook ads is targeting the wrong audience. To fix this issue, take the time to define your target audience accurately. Consider factors like age, gender, location, interests, and behaviors. Use Facebook’s audience targeting options to create a more precise audience that matches your product or service.

Review Ad Creative

The visual and textual elements of your ad, including the ad copy, images, and videos, play a crucial role in attracting and engaging your audience. If your Facebook ads are not converting, it may be time to review and improve your ad creative. Ensure that your ad is visually appealing, relevant to your audience, and communicates a clear and compelling message.

A/B Testing

A/B testing, also known as split testing, is a valuable technique to identify what works best for your audience. Create multiple variations of your ad, such as different headlines, ad copy, or images, and run them simultaneously. Monitor the performance of each variant and use the data to determine which elements resonate most with your audience. By continuously optimizing your ads based on A/B testing results, you can improve conversion rates over time.

Landing Page Optimization

Sometimes, the problem may not lie with your Facebook ads but with the landing page to which you’re directing your audience. Ensure that your landing page is well-designed, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions. It should have a clear call-to-action (CTA), load quickly, and be mobile-responsive. The messaging on your landing page should align with the ad, providing a seamless transition from the ad to the landing page.

Improve Ad Relevance

Facebook assigns an ad relevance score to your ads, which reflects how relevant your ad is to your target audience. A low relevance score can negatively impact your ad’s performance. To fix this, make sure your ad content matches the interests and needs of your audience. Use audience insights and adjust your targeting to improve ad relevance and increase conversion rates.

Create many variations on your adset. That's the most basic thing to do.

Is A/B testing old now? I rarely see people using it
Maybe you only don't Catch them doing that but splittests are a Evergreen and still important.

When it comes to Splittest it only makes Sense If you already have a winning ad that converts. Then the Thing you want to do with splittests is to ONLY TEST ONE THING.

What I mean by that is that you only Test a headline for example or a button color but Not headline + button color.

Another Thing for splittests are that you need significant results (atleast 500-1000 visitors) to get your result.

Reasons for not converting
Targeting the wrong audience
Ads repeat too much
Clean budget limits spending too low
Video images are not impressive

I think the value of the product or the format of the ads might have done the damage in the conversion part.

Ads that Offers discount sales to entice people to click make sales a lot.

sometimes it’s the offer you are promoting

Discounts are a good way to catch people's eye, specially for trending products. I also find that poor landing page optimizations leads to poor returns so there's something to be said there.

You can create several campaigns with content on the same account for testing. If it doesn't convert, there's a problem with the account

Been using Google Ads for years, would love to start learning facebook ads and applying it to my businesses.

Do you need a personal aged facebook account to start? I've never used facebook so don't have one.

Aged accounts are always better for Facebook. You can find an account at Want to Buy forum or Marketplace Social Media

still needs a savy person to get the best out of an aged account.

Well~ I don't know if I can specifically name a person here or not, so I can only suggest that you should try to compare yourself to be able to find the most suitable deal ^^
