What to do in regards to stop words?

Lets say there was "Key Word" and also "Key the word", "key an word", "key a word", "key my word", "key your word", "key ur word" etc. with a high number of searches for all of them. Should I go for the "key word" and then get the site ranked for all the other variations using the corresponding anchor texts? or should I make separate pages for all of them and try to get them ranked that way?
