well if you didnt enter your password soon enough after boot that could work ;)
 
im kinda confused on wut u mean izm..

There are programs for you ipod when its stolen that if someone were to plug it into there computer it sends there IP address isp and a few other things to the company that manages it.

as far as the thief is concerned.. you were just wifi hoppin...
 
and any smart thief would also reformat the hard drive and all that before you even had a chance to notice it's stolen
 
not to mention hooking it up on the internet... you should scrub the harddrive enough for no traces of old data... scratch off any serials... and install fresh OS on there... before even testing wireless card before selling it...
 
well this is "black hat world" isnt it?


you should really look up what's on that laptop anyway before reformatting... there could always be some valuable data on it... like rare episodes of fresh prince...
