I can start from $ 0 again. IfI had zero, I would mail some regular clients offering them a huge discount on the service they had been buying from me in past. Thereafter, I need just a paypal id or btc adress to collect cash.

the quickest idea is to have another job offline (but I do not like that)
SEO is one of those that move slower, (unless you're an expert)
if you want to generate money in the short term stay away from seo.
Or you can get a job + seo in the long term.

I would absolutely NOT invest any of the money in internet marketing (okay, maybe a $5 domain and a $5 VPS, but that's it)

I would take some quick freelance software development jobs online but assuming that's not an option, I certainly wouldn't pursue IM in a time when I needed money. I'd go get whatever job I could find.

There are a few things you can do to make money with $500.

-YouTube + CPA

-Sell services based on your skills (I used to offer guitar lessons online back in 2011)

-Sell product as an affiliate via Youtube Ads, make sure its very targeted

-Resell SMM services

Social Media Marketing services. Have a look at the marketplace section. Many of them are selling SMM services, what you can do is resell those services directly to users on Youtube, Instagram etc

500$? I can start over with 100$.

I'd buy a domain and hosting. Then prepare some blog post writing samples. Then I'd mail a ton of big bloggers asking for writing work. 2-3 out of 100 emails should receive a yes. Same with LinkedIn. Set up the account, connect and ask for work.

After I've landed some clients, it'd be the time to work hard. Work hard and see the money rolling in.
