you blasting your money site??? I wouldn't do that.. not because I am following some pointers written by someone about SEO, but purely based on my research.
Like product life cyle, there is a curve every website takes (backlink count) and google know how the backlink count increases, so it is plain stupidity to blast the backlinks.
instead focus more on the content and add quality backlinks (not from blog farms/networks) at a natural pace.. things should work out.
