What to do and What NOT to do - Penguin Update?

After this big update that made so money money makers go down the drain and unranked alot of sites and changed the way seo was for us, i wanted to know what you guys think is still vaiable to rank a site. I have a 2 low keywords i want to rank up but im not sure what to do and what not to do lol

Relevant links and very low percentage of anchor links matching keywords. 1-2% onsite keyword density, LSI. Now you just REALLY need to look absolutely natural. SEO game is not over, just percentages changed a lot and it looks that google has something new how to determine what is relevant link. I have been really scared first few days after 24, but now it looks its just another update and we will adapt.
