What to do after the google updates

I know there are lots of thread regarding Google updates and all the changes that has happened, how website been affected and how to recover them But I can't seems to find the answer correctly.
So on May 25, 2012(penguin data refresh happened) one of my site went down on all of ranks. Prior to the data refresh I had about 18 keywords ranking not all of them in the top but they were there. My website is still index all of the pages, and I didn't receive any message in webmaster account.
My home page keyword density was 17..... so I brought it back down to like 0.755 something like that. I changed title and description.

I am still building high quality links to that site. Now I don't understand I didn't receive any message from Google or anything else, so what really happened to my site. Some is saying Google dance also.
Yesterday i removed my site from webmaster, I read somewhere it helped somebody. It been month now and website hasn't changed.

Now I was thinking to submit a form to reconsider my site. What you guys think of that any thoughts. Should I submit to get it reconsider?

How high was your concentration of keyword-anchored links vs non-related anchors? It could have been that.

they were all anchored links

If all your links contained your keyword as anchor that's probably your problem.. I was hit by that as well.. Damn shit.. My site went from $10-15/day to $0.
