Hi guys,

I've been working on a site's SEO for sometime who dominate the online furniture industry. They have been accumulating mass amounts of backlinks in a very short time. (over 5000 links from over 2000 domains within a few weeks).

No one on their end is actively building links, only me, and i certainly did not organise these links.

I've heard about submitting a report to Google via WMT but it requires the competitor's website, which i'm not sure of as i have no idea who's building these links.

Can anyone offer any suggestions other than a disavow file?

Thanks for any assistance

mate disavow is only the option to avoid spam for your site. why you are avoiding and looking for other solutions?

Thanks for your response Tearu,

I was afraid the only option would be a disavow file. I'm happy to keep doing this, it just takes forever to go through so many new domains as they are discovered, was hoping there'd be another way i didn't know about that would be much quicker.

Thanks again Tearu.

Hi there,

How to use Web URL removal tool?
There are pretty simple and straight forward steps to follow in the removal process.

Create a new removal request
Remove cache version of the page
Reason for removal of URL
Remove this Page or URL
Show all removal request
Re-include the deleted URL

Disavow only if you have 10% spam, carefull with this tool on small trafic websites.
