I don't know the exact theme, but it'S one of those pinterest look themes.. you'll find a gazillion if you look on themeforest etc
It's easy to "fool" those wp detectors, simply use one of the many plugins that are available.

It's a bootstrap theme that they customized. You can get it here: http://getbootstrap.com/ and look through some of the 'bootstrap theme' sites on google to find one you want. Not too difficult to do.
It's a php backend built with codeigniter, hosted on Amazon, web server is Nginx, they monetize with Adsense and Doubleclick, use google analytics, the facebook SDK, and jquery.
