What the hell is this?

I see lots of products in CB where their hoplink go to a landing page with just a video with volume cranked up max presumably and on the video there's no button to fast forward or skip ahead. They don't even show you the counter so you don't even know how much of that annoying shit you have to put up with.

There isn't anything to turn down the loud volume either. The only option is to pause the video by clicking on it. So you're forced to close the tab because they don't even give you a button or link to buy or sign up. But they have an affiliate link though to inform the visitor you just sent how much you get to make if they somehow can find a way to buy with nothing to click on.

So, how does this work???

This at least got a few links on the bottom. I saw a few earlier with nothing to click on.

They have the "Add to Cart" button appear below the video (a few seconds before the video ends).

This is selling after having "pre-sold" the visitor in the video, instead of having the visitors running away as soon as he see the "Add to Cart" button.

At first it didn't make sense to me. But it has to be working, since even the top selling products are switching to that kind of sales page.

I understand too it must be working cos they're all doing it.

But it's also surprising why it work cos it sure is damn annoying as hell.

Unless they're giving out free money I won't put up with that shit lol

I did my split testing with the above, having a button below from the start increases the conversion rate. People usually don't buy at the first visit, its the 2nd/3rd visit that usually sells - then they don't need the video anymore and are desperate for that button.

Videos create trust....but sadly most of those vids are of actors and guys fall for all that crap and buy...but thats good for us affiliates haha

I understand if it's a nice video showing you all kind of amazing numbers how you're gonna gain something.

One of the video I "saw" has no graphic, just a black screen and a guy with an annoying voice just talking and talking to himself for like 6 minutes (I stopped at 6 minutes cos I was forcing myself to make it to the end but he was still going on) and you have no idea when it's gonna end.

At least like lancis mentioned, give them a buy now option before he irritate the hell out of people and force them to look elsewhere.
