What the hell is this COVID about?

Hard to take that serious when It's true not properly using a mask could ultimately cause you to get infected. But there are so many different factors at play too.
They weren't using masks improperly, they weren't using them at all. They relied on social distancing more.

You do know, younger people die from it too right?
The average age is 82 years old. If you can't wrap your head around the implications of that then I'm not going to waste my time trying to pull you out of your ignorance.

And how do you know "94% of deaths probably weren't even from COVID"? What are you credentials to make that assumption? You are just smarter than the scientists and medical professionals?
If you bothered reading the whole thread then you would have seen my earlier reference to the CDC stat on their own website that states that only 6% of people that died didn't have other causes of death.

I'm not saying I'm smarter than medical professionals, genius, I'm quoting them. ffs.

Do a bit of light research on the Dunning-Kruger Effect while you're at it. I'll get you started..

There’s at least 5 diseases where there are more daily deaths than covid yet it was never an issue... instead of banning fast food, banning cigarette and alcohol, they care so much about us for covid... sure they do.

Which diseases? Did they also completely immobilize medical services for entire cities? Say you get into a car accident and your family needs immediate emergency help. But unfortunately you can't get ahold of 911 and / or there's no ambulances available. Or they finally find an ambulance, but the medics all have covid too but are being forced to work anyways. Take you too the hospital where there's no rooms available and doctors are trying to decide who is worth saving based on their age and survival chances.

This is exactly what I mentioned in my post. Rational approach vs. Emotional approach.

Here we have VSYNC, who reads articles, check the statistics and makes a conclusion. Then we have samiejg who comes up with assumptions because his emotions are taking over.

This is US alone....

Number of deaths for leading causes of death:
  • Heart disease: 647,457
  • Cancer: 599,108
  • Accidents (unintentional injuries): 169,936
  • Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 160,201
  • Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 146,383
  • Alzheimer’s disease: 121,404
  • Diabetes: 83,564
  • Influenza and Pneumonia: 55,672
  • Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and nephrosis: 50,633
  • Intentional self-harm (suicide): 47,173

Diabetes and Heart diseases can be "mostly avoided" if you stop smoking, alcohol and junk food yet no governments ever bothered... I wouldn't be surprised if they created COVID on purpose either as a means to lower population further or to force a vaccine among other things.

So because the average age is 82 years old, are you "implicating" that it doesn't effect people younger people? That's there's not children who lost their parents? Or parents who lost their children?

Ok so let's assume one of us has "Dunning-Kruger". How do we determine which one of us that is? lol Maybe it's me. But how would I know for sure? And how am I supposed to know it's not you? I mean, would you be able to tell? How would you even know it's not you if you had that type of mental processing lol

"A hospital in Idaho is 99 percent full and warning that it may have to transfer coronavirus patients to hospitals in Seattle and Portland, Ore. Medical centers in Kansas City, Mo., turned away ambulances on a recent day because they had no room for more patients. And in West Allis, just outside Milwaukee, an emergency field hospital erected on the grounds of the Wisconsin State Fair admitted its first virus patient this week.

More than 41,000 people are currently hospitalized with the coronavirus in the United States, a 40 percent rise in the past month"

Good job Doc. Make up some conspiracy theories based on 0 proof and no medical knowledge :P

People probably just going to say it's the "fake news" exaggerating or something silly lol

For the love of all that is right PLEASE don't use the propaganda that is NYT to prove a point. Glanced at the article, and it is pure fear porn. Did you like the way they don't mention the names of the hospitals, nor explain why a densely packed city like Portland can handle more patients?

Look at the percentages dying lower than 60, that’s the point... damn people are so dumb

Sounds like a day in the life of the NHS

Good job ignoring my response! Go to sleep it’s past your bed time.

Well it seems irrelevant and non-sensible.

I called it!!

Ok, well your point ignores the fact that parents are losing their children, and children are losing their parents. Plus it just seems ridiculous like you guys basically have the mindset of "it's not that bad!! It's just killing mostly old people!" like who cares.

After reading through all this it still amazes me that people completely ignore the science on masks. I provided some resources - people respond that folks just don't wear masks properly. The studies (MANY) were of medical professionals that are trained in proper mask use. They don't reuse masks, etc. Viruses are very, very, very small. As the poster above used NYT for a reference, riddle me this - the NYT states that Mexico has one of the highest compliance with wearing masks. Look at their rise in new cases. Now look at the Dutch, Sweden, etc. that don't wear masks. Can you explain that?

Have you all noticed that amongst all the fear porn coming from mainstream media there is little to no talk of attempts to increase one's immune system? They certainly aren't talking about necessary nutrients to build natural defense - not to mention exercise. They want you SCARED (outside bad!) Here in the US nearly every talking head has been caught taking off their masks as soon as the cameras go dark. They openly crowd around people with not even a hint of social distancing.

It's clear that it's not going away and it's clear it's not as deadly as they'd have you believe, there's also good evidence that the false positives account for 80 to 90 percent of the infections because the test kits are shit.

So why for the love of God are all of the governments around the world destroying the economy and jobs, unless it's deliberate and it really is to usher in the great reset?

I don't want to go around in circles in this thread that's why I've stopped trying to get people to just read... BUT this one excerpt above shows the problem with the media, what's sad is it's doing it's job it has people worrying, thinking the worst and posting crap.

RE-READ it with my adjustment.

Notice the word may... Media is funny like that reading that paragraph in passing it does sound shit scary (more so if you live in Idaho!) but as soon as you stress the word "may" ... I MAY win the lotto tonight, I MAY die tomorrow, I MIGHT do a lot of things...funny that eh

MAY does more harm than good. Media is doing it's job there. IF you start to deep dive you will see they change 99% full to "code black" all we need now is "hospital will explode from over capacity" ... fucking media.

Called what? I saw you didn't comment on the pure BS that was your quoted article. They don't mention the hospital names so you can't confirm their story, just like they LOVE using anonymous sources. I fear for this world because so many people run on emotion while yelling "IT'S SCIENCE!!!". I was trained in the scientific method. Politics has ruined the image of science.

Never said that, take care, you seem really angry.

Because right before you posted it I had just said that someone will claim it's "fake news" lol Yeah, you're right. It could be fake and can't confirm it "right now". But if we mention politics -- look at how much more often republicans are wrong or misleading? Trump wants people to think that covid is over or "rounding the corner", etc. Wants people to believe that all this news is fake. But he's discredited himself with all the lies. News might not always be honest or exaggerating / clickbait. But they are much more honest than Trump so they have my trust.
