What the hell happend?

Here's a copy of the email I sent to another member of this list. I thought it was just me, but I searched another (un-named) BH list, and reports you were down were found.
I was a bit frustrated as I had a possible solution if it wasn't just hosting problems. I would have liked a "normal" email address to contact one of the mods.
Anyway, here's the letter.

Like yourself, I'm a member of Black Hat World too. We have had some communication before re programs.
I can't seem to access the site: www.blackhatworld.com at the moment, it seems to have 'gone off the radar'.
We tried from another PC, same result. It just defaults to a php file called 'login.php', I'm asked to open that, and I get a redirect to a message, (with a link of course), that the zend optimizer (for php files), is not installed.
Also, I usually receive email messages from Black Hat advising me of new posts, - none arrived today.
Do you know if the site is down, hacked, removed, or just died?
Help required, since I enjoy contributing to and using this forum, more than any others.

yeah, I also googled black hat forums today and found another forum that gave the same responce as BHW. So apparently we werent the only ones affected, or on the same server? What ever it was. I was looking for a possible explination posted somewhere.

Thanks Dave for he fixed it. I've went around other forums to find any of our admins/mods online somewhere to find out what happened. The case was handled professionally.

Yeah I was wondering WTH was happening. I kept getting a prompt to download a PHP file... I figured someone had hacked the forum.

It looks like a PHP problem to me. I had the same problem yesterday after I re-built Apache on my server. I'm still having the download problem though (maybe I have to clear my cache).

I too was worried yesterday. I thought it had been hacked or something. searched madly on google for any info. starnge thing is everytime google said"did you mean to say blacklightworld?"

It still doesn't work in Firefox for me, only IE unfortunately
im using firefox and its working fine for me , try clearing your private data and cache
