What the hell? Computer suddenly infected like crazy

Okay, here's the deal - Make sure you update the latest version and definitions before you scan. No matter what anti-virus/anti-spyware programs you run, this infection (and others) are new enough that it's essential to make sure you're up to date.

Oh my f*g god! Those f*ers Adobe have built JavaScript into Acrobat Reader... Why oh Why would anyone need JavaScript in there?

Soon Notepad.exe from Windows 95 installation will be the only application that is safe to run.

Thanks for the tip, I went into Preferences and disabled the script.

My AV / Spyware routine

---> Dont install ANYTHING without running through Virus Total
---> Install and run AdAware, SpyBot, Super Anti Spyware and Malware Bytes (all free)
---> Run them all at least once per week
---> Have a good AV running ideally use virtual machines or systems that run independently of your OS such as virtual box or sandboxie. Ideally you should run all your apps through something like this if you run cracked software etc.
---> PPL here are big fans of Kaspersky and recommend them. I use McAfee which is not great but ok.
