such a pain the ass .... for the last 3-4 days iam trying different methods to fund my facebook ad campaign.. but facebook just doesnt take my money ...

iam from india and i gave my genuine original platinum visa debit card from hdfc bank and got rejected .... then i tried coupon with card then i lost the coupon and it says unusual activity on ur accnt and got banned from ads on that accnt ... made another facebook accnt then got virtual credit card from hdfc netsafe and then it said accepted and was prompted to put the password after i put the password it says unusual activity on accnt and then banned ads on that accnt .....

like that i tried 3 different accnts with 3 virtual cards ..... none ... then asked one of my friend from uk to make a new accnt and asked him to fund using his paypal ... he did and accepted then prompted for password he put the password and bam !! unusual activity on ur accnt banned .....

what the fuck is facebook doing ???

Yes, they really are trying their best to be the kings of dooooshbags lately. I'm pretty sure everything they do is calculated somehow towards their IPO next fall. Shmucks!

yes tried from 3 computers one from thailand another from uk and another from my 2nd computer different connection and ip .... seems like they have problems with indian cards ... i tried lot of virtual credit cards for thailand and uk but when using vcc it succesfully goes through and then asks for accnt password confirmation when i eneter the password it says ads banned on this accnt due to unusual activity fraudulent bla bla bla ........

no offence but i have realized that alot of big sites like Paypal, eBay, Facebook hate Indians, im not sure why though...

Duh, Debit cards cant do recurring billing, so Fb denied your card. And you made another account and tried coupon + card. So they might already had your card details, and just kicked you out for using the same card.The other 3 got banned because they were VCCs. The one that your friend funded probably got banned because, it was logged in from another country, activated, and logged in from the first country again. Thats enough for FB to kick you out.

Anyways, Fb is a bitch.

its not a personal thing rather that they have probably had a large amount of fraudulent activitity from India.

bit like my forums, i basically ban any IP address that originates from China or Russia why? Because I've had to many spam and hackers hit me from those locations so i thought fu*k it ban the lot.

stop bitching about things and start thinking as they think and you will get round your issues.......!!!

big business is not racist, its only interested in one thing money!

Agreed! There are certain parts of the world where if you run certain kinds of online business you get a lot of people who are a pain in the backside. They can cause a lot of expense in policing so some sites practically excude any subscribers from those particular arears that are causing expensive problems. Nothing personal about it, nothing racist about it...just business.
