Last month I sold $220 worth of items. I just got a charge from eBay seller fees for $108. They literally took 50% of my revenue from last month. WTF?!?!?! How the hell do they calculate their cut of my sales? I thought they were gouging me when they were taking 10%, but now they are taking 50? Who the ******** does Ebay think they are, charging ridiculous prices like that?

same here mate, fees keep going up and market sales dropping - unless you are selling the "must have" latest item, then Ebay is dying....

Yep I got out of the ebay game several years ago. When I had to mark product up first 20% to cover ebay and paypal fees I got out. The name of the game was sell cheap and get list that you can send updates to later about other products.
Then when paypal starts putting holds on things its not worth it.
I have done some stuff on amazon but have not done it full scale but with what I have done I have not had any issues.

i doubt they actually charged you $108 if you only sold $220
If you sell 200 items at $3.99, which is a total $598, $280 will be owed and paid in fee's. So, it's not too crazy.
