Not talking about grey tricks here, just solid structure that makes Google actually get your site.

A few basics most people skip:
  • Proper canonical setup (avoid duplicate pages)
  • Clean crawl paths, no broken internal links
  • Use schema to define products, articles, etc.
  • Updated sitemap matching live pages
  • Fast, lightweight HTML
Even the best link strategy can fail if Google’s crawl can’t read your setup.
 
Totally agree — technical setup is the foundation. I’d add a few more: make sure your robots.txt isn’t blocking important sections, use consistent URL structures, and implement breadcrumbs for better hierarchy signals. Also, structured data and a clean internal linking map really help Google understand content relationships faster.
