I know some people out there run their bots from 12-24hours / 7 days a week. I was planning on powering up my old laptop and leaving it running all day, charger plugged in. Just wanted to know what type of computer/system y'all use ?

Most people who leave their bots running 24/7 use a VPS. Me included.

In my opinion, most windows VPS's cost too much. The best bang for the buck, if your bots are making you money, is to get a Linux server somewhere cheap. Then if your bots run in Windows, you install a pirated version in Virtualbox or Vmware. Then you use RDP or Nomachine to log in to your box (Teamviewer is great, but expires and really isn't cracked easily).

Doing it this way means that you can get a fully featured real server, with a great CPU, huge hard-drives and lots of RAM, for about 2x the price of a basic VPS.
