what software use to create screen shot? I also want to add some boxes to the screen shot for text.

any software can add professional text box?

thanks

prtn screen then go to paint, find a image for a textbox and type what u want in it. then drag the textbox to your screenshot

I don't know about the text box. I just use paint and the ctrl+print screen function for screenshots

FastStone Capture. Very fast and lightweight. Only using 0.5MB of memory. Amazing, but it has most of the features as SnagIt.

hypersnap dx is a realy cool tool you also capture regions of your screen or any window.

I remember there is a software that can put all screen shots to generate a video. and for each screen shot, we can make some edit, such as adding nice textbox, ... but I can not remember its name. someone knows it?

I just helped my father on using the screen capture (and other nice image tools), which is very easy for him to use.

quick screen capture its free and has an editor for adding text and drawing lines and pictures etc

Snipping Tool comes with Windows 7, you can annotate or save and load it into something else to annotate

hmmm, never knew they had software to do what windows already does.
might check it out

I usually just use prt/sc or snippet, love that win7 feature.
IDK why ppl always say you have to use "ctrl" with prt/sc, you don't

BTW, if you dont have irfanview, get it, best image editing software known to mankind as far as I am concerned, and its free:0

Kscreenshot does the job. Standard with Linux KDE.
