Hi,

I just started a fiverr service and getting a few orders.

Just wondering what software/program/Microsoft excel people use to manage SEO clients info. For example Date Ordered/Due date/Keywords/URLs/Notes etc

Do you use a project management software or just excel spread sheet.

thanks in advance

Excel. It handles URL's - takes imports from Traffic Travis or similar with a cut and paste. Simple

I am trying out a WP plugin from a member that gives your client their own page on your website with updates stats for visitors/keywords etc.
I'll let you know how that goes.

Scritty

Excel for start-ups.. SEOMoz or Raven Tools for advanced users.

Raven is very good - factor in the cost into your price to your client.

SEOMOZ - I wouldn't piss on those self righteous scammers if they were on fire

Full of people offering "real" seo services (read that as "very very slow - low level") for prices of well over $1000 a month

25 links an RSS and directory submission - all wrapped up in a fancy report...for two grand.

And they have the nerve to call US black hat - the conning wa^kers!

Whats the name of the plugin?

Another vote for Excel especially when just starting up.

we use Microsoft dynamics with a project mgm system we had built into it.

This has worked really well for us.

Basecamp classic is one heck of an option but it's great to hear other alternatives

I sort of went down that path of making a plugin for seo management, but to be truthful, the plugin is now definitely more for tracking keyword changes for each client and having a backend backlink database management as well. There are areas where you can put notes per client, and set up To Do lists for each client too. It started way back when as a plugin for Wordpress just to keep track of To-Do lists..then, several years later and a ton of money and time invested into it, it turned into something that I saw was missing in the market.
