what software do you use to create high quality videos?

I want to create videos on my own with using pics, and text with some clips.
What is the best software to produce high quality videos with beautiful animation.
What is your experience.

However, most people here probably use something simpler for their YouTube PPD videos like Windows Movie Maker.
 
I use Imovie :) simple and yet powerful, also you can upload videos to youtube and to other media sites straight from there :)
 
I used to create simple videos using Windows Movie Maker but found it too time consuming. Now I search fiverr and usually purchase a gig from there. Some really good ones too.
 
Proshow producer is easy to use
after effects- not so easy but you can get templates

Thanks to you all for your advices.
I used "Adobe Premiere Pro" in the past. Then now i am using "Camtasia". It is better then "Adobe Premiere Pro".
Has any one used "Camtasia"?
Is it better then Windows Movie Maker?
 
Premiere Pro for video editing + After Effects for video compositing

But i think Camtasia is better then premiere pro. Because i used both.
 
Sony Vegas Pro is definitely one of the best. Camtasia is more of an entry level post production tool. Better yet, screen capture with extras.

At the end of the day, it depends on the level of work you're going for. The things you mentioned will probably work well enough using Camtasia.
 
I Use Normally Window Movie Maker, Because Its Software Instruction is To Simple For Use.

I have used many software's to create videos but I found Camtasia to be the best personally.
 
There are many software Available to create video , From my experience i would suggest Movie Maker is best option.. Which it is easy to use and create video..
 
I personally use sony vegas , its awesome . i also love after effects but i have only 4gb ram installed :(
 
"Anim FX + Sothink SWF to Video Converter" to create a nice text animation (for vid opener).

then load the text animation + all pics into Camtasia 6
 
I use Camtasia Studio 8 for editing & producing videos.
