For editing I use Davinci Resolve. If you're looking for a tool to get clips from long form check out Repurpose(dot)io

Because I do not upload a lot of shorts I use Clipchamp, it has the sizeto squeze the video on the screen format, I just play a little bit but as I said I do not upload a lot of shorts per day so I take my time to upload content.

My suggestion is not to use any software. Very soon YouTube is going to ban all these type of channels.
