I'm currently building up some big pages on instagram so please don't discuss over ig in this thread.

I want to know if anyone can suggest me an social network which is profitable and why?
I would love to read an journey or just hear some user experience.
Twitter, youtube, facebook, linkedin, pinterest there are so many.

Let's discuss.
Myself I'm only using instagram at the moment.

Instagram is certainly the easiest in my opinion.

You could try youtube and facebook too
 
I'm seeing best results in Instagram. Facebook would be my next choice.
 
For me facebook is the best I monetize it with adsense + amazon affiliate.
 
I'm already having excellent results with instagram so I just want to have other income streams in case my pages get banned.
But yes instagram is extremly easy to start with.

You know any Facebook methods or threads?
What do you think about twitter and pinterest.

Try Facebook group posting, it's easy and profitable. Consider a software like facedominator to scale.
Personally, I haven't made good experience with Twitter. Some niches are pretty oversaturated there.
Pinterest + Blog + CPA / Affiliate worked much better for me.
 
Of-course Facebook is the best one to built your pages. Because it has around 900 million visitors per day and also traffic is more here. So, more likes and shares of your page are possible.

Next to Facebook, Youtube is the best one. If you want to make some good videos in your niche, it is the right choice. Here also, more visitors watch the videos and promote the videos by subscribe and by more views.
 
I haven't messed with Instagram too much but I do have quite a few followers, I have had good luck with list building on Facebook.
 
I suggest Facebook and youtube in those you can utilise more than other social networks.
In Facebook you can try PPC options and it is more effective compared to other networks.
In youtube your video is been having good quality and good message it is more useful.
 
Make a few and see which will take off the quickest for your particular niche. Crosspromote between platforms so if one gets deleted, you still have access to the same people on the other. Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube are all working for many people so they are all worth trying.

for my purposes (traffic) it works pretty well

Would you elaborate a bit on how you use Pinterest to drive traffic? I am heavily using Facebook and have used Twitter intermittently for traffic, but Pinterest is the social network I've never relied on.
 
When you see few Youtubers, like Pewdiepie, who are millionnaire in 6 years... so very short time (he makres 7-8 millions euros per year now)... I think Youtube is the best from far for making money ! Nobody can be millionnaire on another social networks.

Instagram is the easiest social networks to grow up (and start from nothing).

Facebook is not as good as people think, but you can make little money (but you won't never be rich), and Twitter... useless.

I am getting traffic from pins with my URL, since half of my websites are women oriented & pinterest is mostly female audience this is a great place to get traffic. I am not talking about buying it, but getting it free, because people like what you do. I hated twitter from the very begging since I knew about it, I never thought its a good network, so I never even tried getting traffic from there, but it doesn't mean its a bad place, I just didn't try it.

I would have to disagree, at least on topic of traffic arbitrage. You can get lots of good traffic from those sources and monetize it on your site.

There are countless social networks out there, riding the success of Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
