io TLD has gotten famous around startups and tech. That's all there is to it

It's on-trend. No startup looks like a proper startup unless they've got a .io
Apart from that it offers no benefits, and is damn pricier than other domains

If you wanna look the like 12. millionth cringe startup just get an io domain.

Its the same that .tv was 10 years ago, ever since that only twitch got popular with that tld and none buys that anymore, same will happen with io.
